Ashwini is a multi-certified, force-free canine behaviorist with over 17 years of experience and more than 10,000 virtual sessions conducted across the United States and Canada. She specializes in complex behavior cases and guardian education, using clear, compassionate, science-based methods.
Her practice is rooted in two core commitments: improving the quality of life for captive animals, and strengthening communication and understanding between guardians and their dogs.

With gratitude, I welcome you to this space.
My name is Ashwini, and I am writing to you from Sri Lanka, where I currently reside. If you've arrived here, it's likely you are seeking help for someone you love — a member of your family, even if they walk on four legs.
It is the story of a little girl, growing up in foster care, who knew nothing of family except for her dogs. I came from no wealth, no safety net — but I had my dogs, and they became everything to me. They were my family, my teachers, my salvation.
Later in life, as I struggled with my own mental health, they were the reason I survived. Truly. Not just the reason I am who I am — but the reason that I am.
I went on to deliver over 10,000 virtual training sessions to clients around the world — predominantly in the United States and Canada — helping dogs and their humans through some of the most complex behavioral challenges. I was later awarded a full scholarship to the renowned CSAT program — the first scholarship ever granted in its history. I earned this in honor of my own dog, Tinkerbelle, who suffered from separation anxiety and whom I could not save in time. Every case I take now is, in some way, for her.
Everything I do — every protocol, every case, every late-night email — is an act of service to the dogs I've loved and the people who have loved them.
